Burnt Edge Roses
Success!!
This flower was so much fun to make and you get to play with fire.
The idea came from Wearing It On My Sleeves Blog. I love the brown one in the blog tutorial. Check it out!

Craft FAIL
Are you wondering if this is a nest for pearl eggs?
I am sure it looks like that -- but actually it is a green plaid flower with a few vintage pearl beads in the center for interest! UGH
The inspiration for this crafting attempt was from Miss Lovies Creations Blog.
I will try again.

Favorite Things
Sunny and mild today. I broke out one of my new Vera B purses. Emma drawstring in the Baroque pattern. I love that celery green color in the purse. I have many shirts and a sweater that match it perfectly.
A little trip to Macy's ... K-cups sale, Sam school uniform pants sale (Docker's 29w/32i $24.) and LUSH (many treats for the feet and Karma Kreme refill).

Scrap Fabric Pins
I made this quick and easy pin for friends and teachers for Valentine's Day. This is the one I kept for myself. So easy and quick to make.
Chocolate Covered Pretzel Rods
These are super easy and ohh so festive. The pretzel rods can also be given as small gifts.
You will need - Chocolate candy discs (Candy Melts by Wilton), pretzel rods and sprinkles (Jimmies).
I add the chocolate discs to a large microwaveable coffee cup. I microwave the chocolate for 30 seconds at a time. Then I stir the discs until melted.
Take a pretzel rod and dip it into the chocolate and place it on a piece of greased wax paper or parchment paper. When you have finished a row of rods -- use some sprinkles.
